Fast Down Fire vs. Slow Down Firing

Each section shows a pair of glazes, in a fast downfire then in a slow downfire. The first of each pair is a small plate ~5 inches in diameter, the second a plate ~8 inches in diameter. The second plate of each pair has various organic matter - leaves and grass as a resist decoration in the glaze.
