The firing protocol includes a slow cool at 50 deg F an hour between 1850 deg F and 1700 deg F, and a further slow cool at 25 deg F an hour from 1700 to 1650 deg F, with a hold of 1 hour at 1650 deg F.

The cone 10 firing is an oxidation firing in an electric kiln.
